Multilingual Community Building Workshop

This 4-hour workshop will explore how to integrate multilingual communication into your strategic plans and community outreach for 2022. Participants will walk away from the workshop with a template for multilingual community building planning that they can use for individual projects OR comprehensive organizational multilingual capacity building.

Workshop will include:

• Discussion of the impact of monolingual organizing on movement building

• Capacity building and planning template

• Foundational needs for creating a multilingual space in-person AND online

• Review of key tech tools

Who: Movement builders, activists, organizers, and freedom fighters who are not just looking for an interpreter, who don't just need translations. You are looking to build authentic connections with more people in your community so that you can harness your collective power to create change.

When & Where: Saturday, February 19, 2022 1pm – 5pm EST. This will be an interactive virtual (Zoom) workshop.
